I really don't play games a lot anymore, so I have not updated this page in a
while. I have a PS3, Wii, PSP, iPhone 3Gs, and iPad that need to be put on
this page eventually.... I would just delete the page, but I don't want to
kill a bunch of links.
Xbox
XBOX - This is probably the most powerful game
console on the market. Get XBOX live and you have the ability to add new
levels to games and play against people all over the world. It also has
a hard drive for recording CDs and playing them back during selected
games.
Favorite game: Halo (most likely to be replaced by
Halo2)
Playstation 2
PS2
- This platform has the greatest number of games. It also allows me to
stream music, pictures, and movies using the QCast tuner. It is also
compatible with all of your PS One games. Favorite game:
GTA, Vice City
My favorite game
from PS One is
Metal Gear Solid
Gamecube
Nintendo Gamecube
- This console is the newest member of the family. Games include the
Mario series, Metroid Prime, and The Legend of Zelda. I just got an
accessory that allows the Gameboy games to be played on the Gamecube.
The Gameboy games look great on the bigger screen! My favorite
game is Metroid Prime
My favorite game
from Gameboy Advanced is
Metroid Fusion
Dell
Dimension XPS
Dell Dimension XPS - Great
computer with an ATI Radeon 9800 XT Graphics card. Also, has
the Sound Blaster Audigy2 Sound card. These two components,
along with a 3 GHz Processor create a great gaming machine. Favorite
game: Max Payne
Dell
LCD Monitor
UltraSharp 1901FP 19-inch Flat Panel Monitor with Height
Adjustable Stand - I needed a
good monitor to go with my computer. This one has great
flexibility and will actually allow the user to swivel the
screen into portrait mode. After reading about different
monitors, it seems that most hardcore gamers like the large
CRT monitors. I decided to make a compromise and get a
montior with a much smaller footprint.
Belkin
Nostromo n52 SpeedPad - Game
controller for your computer. This makes your computer games a
lot easier to play. It allows the user to assign buttons.
This makes it that much easier to kill the enemy in Half Life
and Doom!
